Can you believe Thanksgiving is next week? 🦃 It snuck up on me this year, but honestly… it’s my favorite holiday. No pressure, no presents, just good food, warm kitchens, and the people we love gathered around the table. 🍽️✨
As we head into the season, I hope you take a moment to pause and breathe. Be thankful for the simple things: the people who show up for us, the air in our lungs, the love and magic we all carry inside. Life moves fast, but gratitude has a way of bringing everything back into focus. 🌿💛
And I have to say… I’m so thankful for you. For being here, for reading my newsletters each week, telling me you miss them when I’m slacking, LOL, and for the continued support, encouragement, and connection you share with me. It truly means the world. 🤍

LAS VEGAS ~ WHAT’S HAPPENING🎁✨
The holidays always remind me that there are so many different ways to give, whether it’s donating, showing up for someone, or simply spreading a little kindness in your corner of the world. And this week, the Valley is bursting with opportunities to do exactly that.
Santa’s Mailbox is back at Downtown Summerlin from November 14 through December 22, and it’s the sweetest tradition. Kids can drop off their letters to Santa at the Santa Chalet, and if they include a return address, they’ll even get a personalized letter back. Even better? Every letter received helps support a local children’s charity a perfect mix of magic and meaning.
The Giving Machine has also returned for the season, running November 12 through January 1 at Downtown Summerlin and The District at Green Valley Ranch. It’s a giant red “vending machine” where instead of buying snacks, you purchase real items that go directly to families in need… things like meals, hygiene kits, warm clothing, and even medical support. It’s simple, impactful, and last year Las Vegas raised hundreds of thousands of dollars through these machines alone.
And finally, Wish Across the Valley is underway. A beautiful seasonal initiative where local organizations work together to fulfill holiday wishes for children, seniors, and families right here in our community. From toy drives to sponsored wish lists, it’s one of the most heartfelt ways to make a direct, local impact during the holidays. Many businesses are hosting donation bins and wish-tag trees, making it easy to jump in and brighten someone’s season.
If you’re looking for a meaningful way to give back this year, all three are worth checking out.
✨What I’m Loving This Week
🎄 Tree Lighting Magic
The holiday vibes are officially kicking in around the Valley — and I’m so here for it. Here are a few highlights:

The annual tree lighting at The Village at Lake Las Vegas in Henderson happens on November 22 from 6:00–7:30 p.m., complete with music, hot chocolate, and Santa by the water.

Over at BLVD Las Vegas (just off the Strip), mark your calendar for November 28 from 6:00–8:00 p.m. for a festive Christmas tree lighting with live music and free hot cocoa.

And if you’re planning ahead, the big tree lighting at Silverton Casino kicks off on November 28 at 3:00 p.m. — another crowd favorite to welcome the season.
These are perfect moments to bring loved ones, bundle up in your cozy sweater, and soak in the first sparkle of the holidays.
🏂 Ski Season Has Begun
For anyone craving a little alpine air, ski season at Lee Canyon officially opens November 21. Early runs, fresh mountain air, and a day trip away from the city lights? Yes, please.
⛸️ The Ice Is Back — and I’m Ready
Rock Rink at Downtown Summerlin is open for the season November 14 – January 19. With glowing lights, upbeat music, and skate rentals starting around $18, it’s one of the best spots for date nights, family outings, or just getting into the holiday spirit under the stars.
